Compasso D'Oro (The Golden Compass) is the first and most recognized award in the Industrial Design field. The prize aims to both acknowledge and promote quality in the field of industrial designs made in Italy.
The award originated in Italy in 1954 by the La Rinascente company from an original idea of Gio Ponti (one of the most significant Italian architects, industrial designers, furniture designers, artists and publishers of the twentieth century) and Alberto Rosselli.

BangBoom! Zettel'z, designed by Ingo Maurer and his team is a new limited edition of his previous design titled Zettel'z 5.
The pendant is made from stainless steel, heat-resistant satin-frosted glass and has 80 printed Japanese paper sheets. The drawings on the paper sheets are by Thilo Rothacker
